AR Rahman has been the most talented yet most publicity shy composer that Bollywood has ever seen.

While his interviews have always been scant in the media, he has let his music do the talking. After the Oscars though, Rahman has been constantly in the media glare and he doesn't quite know how to handle it.

Since the Oscar win his phone has not stopped ringing and his fans are going overboard with organising felicitation ceremonies and all.

A source close to his family said, "Rahman needed to be with his god and music so he just took off without informing anyone where he is going.

"While all know Rahman is not in Chennai, his family members and close friends are tight lipped about his whereabouts.

They, in no way, will give away the address of his secret hideout.

A source said that a producer Rahman has worked with earlier, chased him and tried to sign him for his next film but Rahman told him he will meet him later.
