Shahrukh Khan’s next release is Priyadarshan directed Billu Barber. But if you think that he is the hero of the movie, you are absolutely wrong. Shahrukh Khan will be seen in an extended guest role in few scenes and shaking his legs for couple of item songs with his favorite ladies Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra. Well, he does more than that because he is also the producer.

Billu Barber is a story of a village barber played by Irfan Khan whose life changes for worse when his childhood friend, Shahrukh Khan, a superstar, visits his village for a film shoot. Lara Dutta plays Irfan Khan’s wife in this emotional and sometimes funny movie.

Agreed that Irfan Khan is a good actor, but can he make the cash registers ring? I don’t think so… so can Shahrukh Khan with his glam girls make BilluBarber work?
In the Tamil version (Kuselan), Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth played Shahrukh Khan’s role. We know how crazy are southern fans to see Rajinikanth on screen, so when he couldn’t save the movie, do you think SRK can? It seems that producer Shahrukh Khan has to loose some money from what he earned from Om Shanti Om.
